The next screening in the WOW Film Club for women only, will be at Chapter on Wednesday 16th July at 10am. Bastards follows the true story of Rabha, an illiterate young woman who took on tradition, her family, and the Moroccan justice system for the sake of her illegitimate child: WOW tells us this is a powerful and uplifting documentary from the cutting edge of Islam. This screening will be followed by a Q & A with the director Deborah Perkin. If you would like to have a creche place please book in advance. Lunch will follow the screening. Cost of the morning is £3.50.
