We are very grateful to have funding from UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund and Levelling up, so that our FAN friends in Swansea can put together a cookbook of their recipes. Local FAN Groups are talking about food, sharing favourite recipes and their stories with the wider community and training in food hygiene. Our first big event was at Cafe Ark where my favourite recipe was the topic at our FAN Group this morning as part of our Cookbook and Stories project. Friends shared recipes and food from Sri Lanka, Korea, Egypt, Turkey, Poland and Wales: what a tasty and interesting morning. Café Ark FAN Friends and Neighbours Group meets on Fridays at 10.30am each week, 32 Oxford Street, Swansea SA1 3AN.
